1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BrethrenMT, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BrethrenMT.

2. Eligibility

BrethrenMT is exclusively for members of Brethren Assemblies (also known as Plymouth Brethren or Christian Brethren). To use this platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a baptized member of a recognized Brethren Assembly
• Be legally eligible to marry under Indian law
• Provide truthful and accurate information during registration
• Not be currently married (unless legally divorced or widowed)

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access or use of your account. You may not share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account. Each individual seeking a match must have their own account, though parents or guardians may assist in managing profiles with the member's consent.

4. Community Guidelines

As a faith-centered community, we expect all members to uphold the following standards:

• Treat all members with respect, dignity, and Christian love
• Provide truthful and accurate information in your profile
• Use recent and genuine photographs
• Communicate respectfully and appropriately through the platform
• Respect the privacy and boundaries of other members
• Involve family members and elders in the matrimonial process as appropriate
• Honor the No-Dowry Declaration if you have signed it

5. Verification Process

BrethrenMT employs a multi-tier verification system to ensure the authenticity and trustworthiness of our community:

• Elder Verification: Your Assembly Elder may be contacted to verify your membership and standing within the assembly. By registering, you consent to this verification process.
• ID Verification: You may be required to submit government-issued identification to verify your identity.
• Profile Review: All profiles are reviewed for completeness and adherence to community guidelines before being made visible to other members.

Verification status is displayed on profiles to help members make informed decisions. Providing false information during verification will result in immediate account termination.

6. Inquiry and Communication Rules

All initial communication between members must occur through the BrethrenMT messaging system. You may send inquiries to express interest in another member's profile. Recipients have the right to accept, decline, or ignore inquiries without explanation. Harassment, repeated unwanted contact, or pressure after a declined inquiry is strictly prohibited. Sharing explicit, inappropriate, or offensive content through the messaging system is grounds for immediate account termination.

7. Prohibited Content and Behavior

• Creating fake or misleading profiles
• Impersonating another person
• Soliciting money or financial information from other members
• Posting inappropriate, offensive, or explicit content
• Using the platform for any commercial or promotional purposes
• Attempting to collect personal information of other members for unauthorized use
• Engaging in discriminatory behavior based on caste, economic status, or physical appearance
• Demanding or offering dowry through the platform
• Circumventing security measures or attempting to access restricted areas
• Using automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the platform

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the BrethrenMT platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are the exclusive property of BrethrenMT and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. Content you upload to your profile remains your property, but you grant BrethrenMT a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute it within the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

BrethrenMT serves as a platform to facilitate connections between Brethren Assembly members. We do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by members, the suitability of any match, or the outcome of any interaction. BrethrenMT shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, interactions with other members, or reliance on any information provided through the service. We strongly encourage involving family members and Assembly Elders in the decision-making process.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, community guidelines, or any behavior we deem harmful to the community. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team or using the account deletion feature. Upon termination, your profile will be removed, and your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of BrethrenMT shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kochi, Kerala, India. Both parties agree to attempt to resolve any disputes through good-faith negotiation and, if applicable, mediation before pursuing legal action.

12. Changes to Terms

BrethrenMT reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify members of significant changes via email or platform notification.
